Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed and Elizabeth Reaser Bask In the Final 'Twilight' Glow

The sun’s going down on the “Twilight” saga, but Cullen vampires Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed and Elisabeth Reaser are ready to bask in the final glow before darkness falls.

The trio of actors had gathered with their many co-stars in San Diego for Comic-Con, on hand to tease their faithful legion of “Twi-hards” with snippets from “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2,” the final installment in the saga adapted from Stephanie Meyer’s teen-lit phenom, and they even made a dusk appearance the night before their panel to give a thrill to the hundreds of devoted fans waiting overnight in line to glimpse them onstage. After their final trip to the Hall H stage, PopcornBiz sat down with Facinelli, Reaser and Reed to hear their thoughts about their waning days in the “Twilight” spotlight.

Peter Facinelli, best known for his performances in the Twilight film franchise, has signed with talent agency APA.  The film and television actor was previously represented by Paradigm.

Facinelli will reprise his role as vampire patriarch Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the final film of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn — Part 2, which will be released Nov. 12. He has appeared in all four of the previous movies in the franchise.

This week, the cast of Twilight celebrated its final Comic-Con with a bittersweet preview/panel event comprising a seven-minute sneak peek of Breaking Dawn—Part 2, an emotional Kristen Stewart, and an appropriate level of fan fervor for the last film adapted from the Stephenie Meyers vampire franchise. Just hours after the 6,500-person audience dispersed back onto the San Diego Convention Center’s main floor, Peter Facinelli—who has played Carlisle Cullens, Robert Pattinson’s 372-year-old onscreen father in the past four films—sat down with us to discuss the possibility of a Breaking Dawn follow-up, what he thought Edward and Bella should have named their baby had it been a boy, and his plans post-Twilight.
